Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 in Titanium launches October 2 in the U.S. for $599

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 3 in titanium will be available on October 2, and you can get it for $599.

Originally launched in a sleek stainless steel, the Galaxy Watch 3’s new titanium model ups the ante with a more premium design that makes the smartwatch feel more luxurious than ever. In addition to coming in titanium, the wearable comes with a matching metal bracelet to boot.

The titanium Galaxy Watch 3 will be lighter than the comparable stainless steel option. For example, the 45mm titanium model is just 43g, down from 53.8g. That’s actually a pretty big difference in weight and should make it less noticeable when it’s on your wrist.

Aside from materials and weight, the titanium Galaxy Watch 3 is similar to the 45mm model that comes in stainless steel. It features the same 1.4-inch display, Exynos 9110 chipset, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and 340mAh battery. It comes with all the same sensors and features as well, including an ECG sensor and blood pressure monitoring, the latter of which was introduced in an update last month. ECG monitoring first launched in South Korea and recently received approval from the U.S. FDA.

Samsung recently launched the Watch 3 and Buds Live in India, offering the wearable in 4G and Bluetooth variants. The watch also launched in two dial sizes, 41mm and 45mm options. Samsung’s wearable is one of the nicest non-Apple Watch options out there, offering Tizen-based software, a rotating bezel, and Samsung Pay.

If you recently picked up a Galaxy Note 20 or other Samsung smartphone, the Watch 3 will make for a good companion, offering features in style in one of the nicest wearable packages you can buy.

For now, the Galaxy Watch 3 in titanium is being offered as a 45mm variant with Bluetooth and in Mystic Black. It goes on sale in some markets on September 18 and in the U.S. on October 2 for $599.
